The C/N ratio in Biofloc technology is very important to control. The right ratio determines the success of the formation and structure of biofloc, where the growth process of heterotrophic bacteria that assimilates inorganic nitrogen into bacterial biomass can work. One of the determinants of C/N ratio in biofloc systems is the content of feed protein and the addition of molasses as a source of C. This study aims to determine the optimal levels of protein in feed, which results in the performance of tilapia culture in the biofloc system.
