Selaewi is one of the sub-districts located in Garut Regency with an area of ​​about 34 km. These rooms accommodate eight villages with the potential of natural resources and humans who are very promising in the development activities of industrial activities, one of which is a fisheries of freshwater farming, namely, carp and tilapia. The purpose of this service is a local based bioflok application prototype in the catfish cultivation system so that the need for water changes to see the condition of the type of fish whose level adaptation is not good. The method used is a direct approach by looking at the field situation for cultivating land preparation. The achievement of this account can be applied to local based bioflok technology in the catfish cultivation system. The surrounding community can feel the positive impact on the use of water resources in Selaawi District, Kab. Garut and increasing the productivity and economy of the surrounding community through catfish cultivation activities (and other freshwater commodity cultivation) using bioflock technology.
