Activity Summary

Bali Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has economic growth above the national average. The tourism sector is one of the mainstay revenues in the province of Bali. The population growth and the development of the tourism sector has encouraged the economy in Bali which has an impact on increasing waste generation in urban areas. To realize Bali as a tourist destination that is Bali (clean (clean), safe (safe), Lestari (Lestari), beautiful (beautiful)), there is waste management needs to be studied. The construction of tourism infrastructure in Bali is not followed by the development of environmental infrastructure, especially in this case waste management. Data collection is done by collecting secondary data, instant surveys, interviews, field observations, and reports (completed 100%). The topic in the book includes: waste management in 9 (nine) districts / cities in Bali and also 2 (two) regionalization of waste management in Bali, a review of 10 (ten) existing waste disposal sites that indicate open dumping operations, and landfill risk index To assess the TPA sustainability level, then identify waste management in water, recapitulation of data that has been obtained, as well as a waste management development strategy. The purpose of this community service is to examine the waste management system in the district / city in the Province of Bali as a mainstay of Indonesian tourism destinations as the basis for the formulation of recommendations for waste management improvements to realize "Green & Clean"
