Activity Summary

Inclusivity is an important issue in the transformation of the Indonesian arts scene. Despite significant progress, such as the inclusion of artists with disabilities and increased accessibility of arts spaces, equality for the disabled community has not been fully achieved. This article discusses the importance of arts education workshops designed to prepare deaf exhibition guides. This workshop is not only a step towards inclusivity, but also an effort to empower the disabled community to play an active role in the arts ecosystem. By highlighting challenges and potential, this paper provides strategic recommendations for the implementation and development of similar programs in the future.



Target

Organize training workshops for people with disabilities so they can do exhibition touring/hosting work. Encourage the growth of the number of people with disabilities working in the arts world.
