This activity aims to develop a regional model and provide new, renewable energy for the Papan Island Fishing Tourism Village, Togean Islands, Central Sulawesi, with a focus on sustainable development of underdeveloped islands. Through collaboration between SAPPK ITB and Tadulako University, this activity integrates identifying regional characteristics, regional planning, and providing renewable energy-based infrastructure. The main results include the preparation of a site plan which includes dock repairs, environmental planning and local wisdom-based houses. This effort is expected to strengthen energy security with Solar Power Plants (PLTS) as well as increase cultural and ecotourism-based tourist attractions, empowering local communities economically and socially.
Study of the physical arrangement of the area contained in the Site Plan (Site-Plan) for Pulau Papan Tourism Village
With this program, it is hoped that it can support the increase in fishing tourism programs on Papan Island, which will ultimately improve the standard of living of the fishing community.
