Activity Summary

The Bengkulu City Government desperately needs other parties participation in the success of the Yard Land utilization program. One of the tips for optimization in utilizing narrow land is to utilize polybeg, which is released with planting media and placed around the house. Besides that, to reduce dependence on the use of synthetic fertilizers, it is necessary to introduce compost making technology by utilizing local resources. The use of polybeg for vegetable plant production is one of the innovations in engineering the growing media in the production of plants on the ground land and this is suitable for use for urban communities whose yard land is relatively narrow. Other innovations related to the optimization of the utilization of yard land is the production of local resource-based compost.
