This community service project aims to optimize the Carrying Capacity and Capacity of the Environment (D3TLH) at the provincial and district/city levels in Indonesia. With its algorithm-based approach and Python technology, this program offers data-driven solutions for sustainable environmental management. The main problem faced is the ecological deficit due to resource consumption that exceeds environmental capacity, lack of efficient land allocation, and the need for scientifically based decision guidance to support environmental policy.
This project includes the development of algorithms, software, as well as publications and training for policy makers. The main focus is to provide relevant and effective solutions at the local level taking into account social, economic and environmental parameters. In addition, cross-disciplinary collaboration between mathematicians, geodesists and policy makers is a key strategy in producing holistic solutions.
Algorithm Development. Software Creation. Publication of Results and Training.
Successful Algorithm Development: The developed algorithm provides an innovative solution to optimize the carrying capacity and capacity of the environment in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara (Balinustra) regions. The algorithm results include efficient recommendations for land allocation based on priority sectors, such as tourism, agriculture and conservation. This spatial data-based model has the potential to become a strategic guide for more sustainable regional development planning. Increased Scientific Understanding: This project has enriched understanding of the importance of integrating scientific approaches in environmental policy at the regional level.
