Activity Summary

Wangunsari Village is one of the villages at the southern tip of West Bandung Regency, with access that is quite difficult to reach. The need for clean water, tourism potential, and mountainous areas that are prone to landslides are common characteristics in villages north of the Gunung Halu area in the old mountain belt of West Java. This community service in 2024 seeks to help with clean water needs, improve access to potential tourist areas, and provide an overview of the vulnerability to landslides around tourist areas and Wangunsari Village in general.

FITB-ITB community service in 2024 has a program to meet the clean water needs of junior high schools in Wangunsari with groundwater drilled wells, improve access to the tourist potential of the Curug Gawang waterfall, and provide an overview of potential disasters, especially landslides in Wangunsari . This program will run from March 2024 with various surveys, and then end with an inauguration event and dissemination of results in November 2024.
