Developing the potential of tourist villages is one way to improve the welfare of village communities, especially through the tourism sector. Bhuana Jaya Village, located in Tenggarong Seberang District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, has great potential as a pioneering tourism village. Through the service program, the team from the Bandung Institute of Technology provided assistance and training in making tourism promotion packages for the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and MSMEs in the village. This activity will take place in July 2024 with the aim of improving tourism management and optimizing existing tourist attractions, such as ecotourism, agrotourism and cultural tourism. This program includes training in consumer behavior analysis, understanding the concept of destinations and tourist attractions, as well as simulating the calculation of tour package costs using the Total Cost Person (TCP) method. The results of the activity show an increase in community understanding regarding tourism management and the preparation of tour packages, which is expected to push Bhuana Jaya Village towards the status of an independent tourist village.
