Community participatory program as an approach to introduction of ecological approach to built of integrated fish pond at Desa Cimenyan have been conducted through 4 implementing activities. They were: 1) improvement of farmer knowledge in designing to manage of their local resources on site, 2) improvement of farmer participation on built models of fish pond in eco facilities in Masterplan design, 3) distribution through workshop, for agro business plan and 4) empowerment and built confident society to invite investor on the program. The farmer had been given the simply introduction of ecological thinking, and taught masterplan designing of site, and also about fish pond facilities and how they should be managed and developed the potential local content on their own site; water, soil, ground, plant, fish and cattle. Improvement program of farmer on preparing infrastructure to built fish pond combined plantation technique based on local resources were started from identification of local resources including site characteristic for water management in site.
Application of appropriate technology
The program becomes not smooth because it requires material readiness, material and processes that require funding readiness at the beginning of work.
