Activity Summary

The group of aesthetic and artists has developed the Indonesian Fine Arts Center study in the form of a repository below the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, ITB. In managing data centers, activities are needed in the form of data collection and archive conservation that will be used as the main content for the repository. The purpose of the service centered on the Soemardja Gallery to collect the archives of Indonesian art traces ranging from activities, artwork, documentation, books and artifacts through data digitalization. This study uses a digital archiving method with information technology assistance, especially those related to data collection of Indonesian art. This study managed to digitize twelve end essays, forty-eight dissertations, and fourteen Indonesian art theses in general and succeeded in creating a repository system database in the form of tables that contain detailed information and location data. The study also filed nine works of Bandung School artists from various sources. The partnership network with Pirous Serambi was successfully built related to archiving and data conservation, and with two data centers, Indonesian art archives in Jogjakarta and Asian art archives in Hong Kong Keywords: Archive art, repository, group of aesthetic and artists.
