On July 29, 2018 there was an earthquake with 6.4 magnitude on Lombok Island. Until August 3, 2018, there have been 524 aftershocks on Lombok Island. North Lombok Regency is the most affected region by the earthquake, especially because the epicenter is located in the waters of the district. Until December 2018, the development of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of residential areas in North Lombok Regency went very slowly. In addition to paving Provincial roads, construction of public facilities, and temporary residential development in the district, there are no other developments. The problems faced by most settlements in North Lombok Regency are flooding and not coordinated rehabilitation and reconstruction activities. By paying attention to the stages of the implementation of rehabilitation and reconstruction, soil consolidation is an activity that encourages the creation of disaster-friendly settlements through the construction of earthquake-resistant houses, widening of the road, administration of road access to each house, and others and healthy settlements through the construction of adequate infrastructure facilities Like dirty water sewers. This activity uses the method of approaching directly with the stages of coordination activities with the government, field surveys to determine the condition of the work area, socialization of land consolidation activities, the preparation of land consolidation design for each work area, socialization of land consolidation design for each work area, improvement of land consolidation design for Every work area is based on input from every holder of interest, the submission of land consolidation design to the NTB Provincial BPN Regional Office, supervision of the implementation of land consolidation in KLU. The establishment of the institutional rehabilitation model and reconstruction of defense-based geospatial information and soil consolidation for the affected area of ​​the earthquake in KLU is an achievement in this activity.
