Daily innovation is an expression of the needs that grow in society or grassroots, based on knowledge -based knowledge about a problem. Everyday innovation is produced by the wider community, both individuals and groups, and is not created by the government as a policy maker or non -governmental organization. The development of daily innovation mapping devices began with ethnographic field work records compiled by the ITB Design Ethnographic Laboratory in previous studies. Internal discussion between the implementing team and UNDP Accelerator Lab Indonesia was carried out intensely through an online meeting. The daily innovation mapping device will be used by the community as a method of mapping grassroots innovation through field studies. In a daily innovation mapping device, one of the main basic principles in the search for field data is immorsing; It is emphasized as a very important principle in the excavation of in -depth data in the community. After conducting field observations, the community is asked to reflect and analyze the needs and solutions of the community. This activity is a collaboration between the Ethnographic Laboratory of the Faculty of Fine Arts and ITB Design and UNDP Accelerator Lab Indonesia in creating tools for mapping daily innovations carried out by the grassroots community. The mapping consists of a guide and canvas format which is a guide to find and identify grassroots innovation. UNDP Accelerator Lab is a think tank under the United Nations of Development Program which is spread in more than 90 countries. His vision is to assist policies in each country in achieving the values of sustainable development goals. UNDP Accelerator Lab always cooperates with government agencies, educational institutions and communities in each country.
