Activity Summary

Introduction to Islam is one of the material taught in elementary schools that base Islam as one of its foundations. Introduction to Religion, especially Islam, which is taught to elementary school students emphasizes the aspects of recognition, especially to Allah SWT, the Koran, Angels, Prophets and Apostles, and Adab in Islam (Abidin and Kusrini, 2021). As for the basic education curriculum based on the Merdeka curriculum program, the freedom to develop a learning program is one of the responsibilities of implementing learning activities, especially teachers. However, this has led to a new obstacle for the organizer of the basic education unit, especially teachers or teachers who have not developed their ability to design teaching programs and means of teaching. Therefore, the Faculty of Fine Arts and ITB Design, especially the ITB Visual Communication Design Study Program with one of its long -term programs is to increase the contribution of institutions to the community, especially in the field of education in the form of content processing and interactive education media. The media developed is expected to be utilized by the community of teachers and elementary schools in the form of knowledge and thematic understanding for elementary school age children based on the 2013 and 2021 curriculum. Alam Nusantara Elementary School network, a community that houses natural elementary schools throughout Indonesia. This community service activity applies the co-creation method, with an individual and group collaborative approach to produce interactive thematic teaching materials with the thematic Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are part of the green education program NATURAL NETHOY NETWORK Archipelago.
