Background: This article discusses the financial report digitization program for Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Sri Nanti Village, Sei Menggaris District, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan. The program was conducted by the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 2024 as part of a community service initiative aimed at enhancing village independence through transparent and accountable financial management. This article highlights the importance of digitizing BUMDes financial reports to strengthen accountability, improve efficiency, and encourage community involvement in managing village funds.
Contribution: The contribution of this service program is to make BUMDes Sri Nanti an independent village, especially in transparent and accountable financial management.
Method: Through training and mentoring methods, participants were introduced to basic accounting concepts, various types of financial reports, and the use of the Android-based "UKM Accounting" application to prepare financial reports digitally .
Results: The results of this program showed an increase in the participants' knowledge and skills in creating digital financial reports.
Conclusion: This article is expected to contribute to encouraging other villages to adopt digital technology in managing BUMDes finances to achieve more inclusive and sustainable village development.
Providing Financial Recording Training based on Accounting Principles
Benefits of this PM: 1) for KK and F/S as scientific implementation in accordance with the KK's roadmap for humanitarian sciences in 2024, namely Sociotechnological Change, especially humanity. 2) as a multidisciplinary scientific implementation between F/S, namely humanities science and finance, SBM also involves sociological experts from other campuses 3) For Bumdes actors and Srinanti village government officials, they have skills in financial recording based on accounting principles to develop BUmdes in the future to make it better. 4) For ITB, this PM activity is proof of ITB's presence in improving the post-covid economic recovery carried out in the 3T region. (Sei-Memgaris is included in the 3T region)
