Banyuwangi Regency, has a diverse type of music and dance. From the support of the local Culture and Tourism Office, the community in Banyuwangi Regency has held various types of festivals in order to increase the capacity and quality of cultural arts and tourism. The existence of building infrastructure dedicated to the presentation or cultural arts presentation for artists can express the results of his work well and the audience can enjoy and live "Arts' gratis needs to be realized. One of the �Research Roadmap� From the FTI-ITB Physics Engineering Group is in the field of Architecture Akustika aimed at supporting the development and improvement of traditional Indonesian music and dance quality to arouse enthusiasm, confidence, pride, consistency and sustainability, and can contribute to Indonesian cultural wealth. As the initial stage of the implementation of the Acoustic Draft Socialization Activities of the Banyuwangi Tradvention and Banyuwangi Music and Tradition Dance have been carried out by the Head of the Banyuwangi District Culture and Tourism Office by producing proposals for partnerships through the MOU between the Banyuwangi Regency Government with ITB. In addition there are also suggestions for discussions / presentations to academic communities, cultural and cultural observers about the technical activities of this study. Armed with the results of the discussion, the acoustic characteristics were tested from 3 types of Banyuwangi music & dance namely: Hadrah, Kumpang Kempul and Gandrung. Furthermore, the psycho-acoustic test was carried out to obtain acoustic preferences when the buzz of each type of music was then carried out an acoustic design from Recital Hall which was in accordance with the preference and its activities were being implemented until now.
