The majority of villages in Bandung Regency have the potential to be prone to landslides, namely the village located on Kecamatan Ibun, Kertasari, Rancabali, Pasirjambu, Ciwidey, Cimenyan, and Pangalengan. Efforts to tackle the disaster stages of landslide praburan is the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bandung Regency continues to check the regions that are usually landslides and floods and increase the discipline of the community so as not to lift trees in the highlands. The tree planting program (reforestation) in a landslide and flood-prone area has been run by the Regent of Bandung with the participation of village officials and village communities through LMDH organizations (forest village community institutions) as the success factor of this program. LMDH is allowed to plant hard plants such as coffee under the forest stands.
